Virtual Works LLC ("Virtual Works," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website virtualworks.ai and provides AI assistant services for businesses. Our SMS assistant was discontinued on August 26, 2026, and our AI assistant now runs in the chat on this site. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you interact with our services.
Information we collect
When you interact with Virtual Works via the chat assistant on our website or a client website, or through other channels, we may collect the following information. Items marked as historical were collected only while the SMS program was active and are no longer collected for new activity:
- Phone number (historical: collected only when you texted our business number or a client business number while the SMS program was active, no longer collected)
- Chat message content, and, historically, SMS message content from the discontinued SMS program
- Name, email address, and business name (if voluntarily provided during conversation)
- Service requests and appointment details
- Device and browser information when visiting our website
How we use your information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide AI-powered responses to your inquiries
- To capture and relay leads to the business you are contacting
- To schedule appointments and send reminders
- To improve our AI assistant and service quality
- To comply with legal obligations, including A2P messaging regulations that applied to the discontinued SMS program
Messaging (SMS discontinued)
Our SMS assistant was discontinued on August 26, 2026. We no longer send or receive text messages, and the number that served the program is no longer in service. Our AI assistant is now available in the chat on this site. This section is kept for anyone who used the SMS program while it was active.
While the program was active, you could opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, and request help by replying HELP. No messages are sent now, so there is nothing left to opt out of.
SMS consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Information sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- With the specific business you are contacting, so they can serve your request
- With service providers who help us operate our platform (such as Anthropic for AI processing, and Telegram for delivering alerts to the business owner), under strict data processing agreements
- Historical: Twilio processed messages for the SMS program until it was discontinued on August 26, 2026. Twilio is no longer used for new activity
- When required by law, regulation, or legal process
Data retention
We retain conversation history, including transcripts from the discontinued SMS program, for as long as necessary to provide our services and for a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping and compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your data by emailing us at david@virtualworks.ai.
Data security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (SSL/TLS), secure database storage, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Ask us to stop contacting you at any time
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate information
Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
